The Harvest Farm

Peaches & Plums

The Blueberry pies will have competition at the Harvest Blueberry Store! Sweet and juicy peaches and delicious plums are now growing at Harvest Farm.

One hundred and forty-five peach trees in four different varieties, along with thirty plum trees in three different varieties were planted in early March 2000. Dr. Robert Rouse, Citrus Specialist at the University of Florida IFAS Center in Immokalee, especially selected all varieties for Harvest Farm. The trees did not require any special soil preparation. These three rows of plants seem to be thriving in their new environment.
